Dr. Smitha Pabbathi is a medical doctor with 20 years of experience in academic clinical medicine in the cancer care continuum, education, and research. Dr. Pabbathi is passionate and driven to deliver the best patient care and create an exceptional patient experience. She is from Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from Florida State University. She went onto medical school at University of Florida. She trained at UF for internship and residency and has focused on internal medicine in cancer care for over 16 years of her career. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has a concierge practice that embraces the principles of Medicine 3.0 to provide personalized prevention focused primary care focused on longevity and optimization of long-term health. She was previously on faculty at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL and the Program Leader of Cancer Survivorship clinic at Moffitt Cancer Center, National Comprehensive Institute in Tampa. In Tampa, she advocated for and created the first survivorship wellness consultative service to address unmet clinical needs targeting prevention and risk reduction for second primary cancers early in the patient’s journey. She delivered cutting edge cancer survivorship care and developed survivorship care plans that personalized care to thousands of cancer survivors. This service, along with other initiatives, granted her many accolades regionally. She is an outstanding clinician and her training, experience and innovative thinking sets her apart as a concierge primary care physician.
