She practices an evidence based and functional medicine approach, exploring all aspects of a person’s life, from lifestyle to family history, physiological make-up, and genetic predispositions, to determine the root cause of a health issue, and promote healing, not just symptom relief. You can expect Dr. McMillen to always listen to your concerns, be compassionate, empathetic and take the time needed to understand what you are experiencing. She is detail oriented and committed to helping her patients achieve their best health. Dr. McMillen practices full spectrum family medicine, with a particular interest in both men and women’s health, and preventive medicine. She is also well on her way to becoming certified in Functional Medicine. Dr. McMillen has been married to her wonderful husband since 2013, has a young daughter and son and two family dogs (a rescued poodle mix and a golden retriever). She loves to spend time with her family and friends, and playing with her children. She also enjoys cooking, experimenting with baking healthier recipes, as well as reading and gardening.
